Marc-Antoine Fehr: Point de fuite

Centre Culturel Suisse, Paris, France

Overview
Marc-Antoine Fehr is an atypical painter in the Swiss artistic landscape. His work has been the subject of solo exhibitions at the Helmhaus in Zurich in 2011 and at the Écuries de Saint-Hugues in Cluny in 2014. For the CCS, he is preparing a new set of paintings, centered on six large format canvases.
His landscapes, still lifes or genre scenes create atmospheres of a serious intensity, of a strangeness that can evoke the worlds of Beckett or Kafka. A large series of small oils, drawings, fragments of his Endless Landscape, sketchbooks and study objects complete the exhibition.
