The Summer Festival, held from August 13 to September 15, 2024, featured 131 events centered on the theme of "Curiosity." The program included performances by 24 symphony and chamber orchestras, numerous ensembles and choruses from around the world, and a diverse lineup of international stars and emerging artists.

Renowned visual artist Zilla Leutenegger also explored the theme of "Curiosity" through her project Auf Besuch bei mir selbst ("A Visit with Myself"), presented in the KKL foyer. Invited guests were able to experience her installation during the opening event before the concert, as well as during intermission. After the concert, the art project was made accessible to the general public.
